More about Vic's New Rig is On It's Way

My main bass is this 1983 Fodera Monarch Deluxe. It's made of curly and rock maple, Honduras mahogany, and East Indian rosewood. The pick-ups are EMG's and I've added a Kahler tremelo.
My 5-string fretless, was made for me by my late friend, Joe Compito.
It has a Mahogany body with a Purpleheart top.
Joe also made a fretted 6 string for me. |
My Fodera Monarch Tenor Bass is tuned A-D-G-C.
|
My Yin Yang basses are also made for me by Fodera Guitars. I have fretted and fretless 4-strings which are tuned E-A-D-G and a fretted 5-string which I usually tune E-A-D-G-C. The 5-string also has a Yamaha MIDI converter with a breath controller attached to it.

I also have quite a few other basses that I use from time to time. They include a new Fodera 6-string Monarch, a NYC 4-string, Kubicki Factor, Keith Roscoe 5-String, an Alembic Series 1 (my first 'good' bass), Ken Lawrence nylon-string tenor, a Nechville "Banjo Bass', and a couple of upright acoustic basses.
You'll usually see my Fodera Monarch, Ying Yang 4-string ,Compito 5-string fretless and Fodera Tenor bass at Flecktones shows. There is also a Korg digital tuner, Roland Sound Canvas and a Furman power conditioner in the rack. For on stage monitoring, I use Hartke Hydrive cabinets and SHURE in-ear monitors.

I have a BOSS GT-6B Multi-Effects pedal for reverbs, chorus, vibrato, and other effects as well as an EBS Envelope Filter. I also use a custom MidiMix controller for the Sound Canvas and the MidiVerb. The Sound Canvas allows me to playsustained notes and chords on tunes ike "Stomping Grounds" and my solo spot in the show.
The Lexicon pedal in the far right of this picture controls the JamMan in my rack. |
All of my basses get my Fodera Victor Wooten Signature strings. |
