| Hey vic, I hope everything is fine with you. I play an old Esh bass, which I like very much. it's active, but the pickups bring an boring bad vintage sound. I search for a fundamental warm sound like yours or the sound of Jonas Hellborg. Which pickups could I try? can you help me? best regards, Björn |

| Hello Bjorn, I'm not sure which pickups will be best for U. U will have to search that one out. Most of my basses have EMGs on the. I also have basses with other types of pickups that help me to get different tones. Until U find the correct pickups, get the best tone that U can get from your hands. Then, the bass nor the pickups will matter as much. After that, when U find your desired pickups, U will sound even better. -V- |
